If I busted through the fence and drove a short distance, I would end up in the Bay. I was bored and home alone on a Friday night with all of my friends having stuff to do. I decided to try some night photography, something I haven't done much of with my 5D. I pulled up Google Maps and tried to find somewhere that might be interesting. I considered a few places, but decided Mowry Avenue in Newark would get me close to the bay, which could lead to some interesting pictures. When I got to the end of Mowry, I was a bit disappointed; it's right next to some salt ponds but you can't see them from the road. I stopped by some train tracks thinking I might get some pictures, but I left after taking one picture because it was dark, I was alone, and I was in an exposed area with trees around me. I drove around a little bit, not knowing where I was going, and I ended up on Enterprise Drive. I drove to the end, and felt a bit more comfortable here; it was a little bit better lit but more importantly I was surrounded on three sides by fences, making me feel less exposed. (It's still an odd feeling to be in an area like this with no one else around, taking pictures.)
